Welcome Tom Lyon

Mornington Peninsular local Tom Lyon has joined the crew at Concave. Tom has a particular style that he incorporates into his bag of tricks. Not only does Tom rip but he is also able to shape a nice looking board, with last being a semi fish diamond tail. We look forward to what Tom will be up to in the near future.

Baw Board

Jack Johnson and Nich Zalmstra pushed go on snowboarding at Mt Baw Baw despite a base cover of only 10cm. It snowed for the better part of the day making conditions fresh for super snowboarding. Waste Lands

It's now been dubbed as "Waste Lands" and it is obvious reasoning that give's this new skate spot its name. The Concave guys have been building ledges, pole jams, spine banks and other random stuff on this small run way of concrete. A day of Safari Snowboarding at Mt Buller. The snow was good but visibility was poor for most of the day so Jack Johnson, Tyson Wiliams, Taylor Gordon-Warrall and Nich Zalmstra sought out a small section of slop and sessioned a fridge, a metal drum and a pole jam of a small kicker we built. Mt Buller

The snow session has had a great start with plenty of snow covering the mountain's along with all lifts being open. We headed of to Buller all hyped up for a good day of mountain shredding and mountain shredding is definitely what we got. Although it was very cloudy day and visibility was to about 30m we found a quite patch of snow surrounded by countless objects waiting for us to ride. A fridge was made to good use along with a metal drum and large piece of pipe resulting in some sick trick being thrown down. Here is a taste of the day and a clip is on its way so stay posted. On a day time boat mission along the secluded coast of Java we pulled up to this serene little beach break. Whilst the waves where small it was nice to enjoy the lush surrounding and surf over sand as apposed a deathly shallow reef. Nich makes the most of a small wave situation.

Draining Deserts

Its hard work getting up to this most mornings. The process of getting out of your bamboo mattress bed, walking 10 meters to the beach front Warungs all just to check the surf really is a big effort. Nich snaps up a slice of Desert dessert while in Lombok Indonesia after such morning.

Good to see Jai Kellett back on the board after being out of action after multiple operations. A session at Ramp it was well deserved.
